A Little Behind and A LOT of Harvesting!

JoRae · September 16, 2026

It’s been a little while since we’ve shared a farm update, and there’s a pretty good reason for that—we’ve been busy! Harvest has become a constant part of our days, and that’s a problem we’re very happy to have. After all the planning, planting, watering, and waiting, it’s exciting to finally be in the harvest season.

The Farmstand Has Been a Wonderful Addition!

Our farmstand has now been open for a little over a month, and we truly cannot thank our community enough for the excitement and support you’ve shown us.

We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we decided to try a self-serve farmstand, but it has been so encouraging to see people stopping by and enjoying a little taste of what we’re growing here at Mid Valley Farm.

There’s something really special about harvesting produce from the field and having it available for our neighbors just a short time later. We’re so grateful for everyone who has stopped by, purchased something, shared the farmstand with a friend, or simply encouraged us along the way.

We’ll Keep It Open as Long as the Field Provides!

For now, we’ll keep the farmstand open as long as the field is providing. What’s available will continue to change throughout the season as different crops come into harvest.

We’re doing our best to keep up with everything the garden is giving us, so if the blog has been a little quiet lately, you know where to find us—out in the field harvesting!

Thank you for supporting our family farm and allowing us to share what we grow with our community. We’re so thankful to be in this season of the farm and excited to see what the rest of the growing season brings!
