Our dahlia collection has grown from just three crates of tubers last year to a much bigger supply for next summer! We’re digging tubers before the ground freezes, storing them for winter, and getting ready to divide them for an even more colorful flower garden next year.

We’ve been a little quiet on the blog lately because we’ve been busy harvesting! The farm is in full swing, and we’re so grateful for the abundance coming from the field. Our farmstand has also been open for a little over a month, and the support from our community has been wonderful. We’ll keep it open as long as the field keeps providing, and we’re excited to continue sharing what we grow with you!

The wait is almost over! Our first tomatoes are beginning to ripen, the kale and Swiss chard are thriving, and cucumbers and zucchini aren't far behind. Harvest season is finally starting to come to life here at Mid Valley Farm!

From moving trays between greenhouses to planting cold hardy crops and waiting patiently on warmer weather, spring has officially arrived at the farm.
